Accurate monitoring of temperature and humidity in warehouses and internal refrigeration units is essential to ensure products are stored under optimal conditions, preventing losses and ensuring compliance with international quality and safety regulations.
Traditional monitoring methods, including manual checks and limited-range recording systems, no longer met the demands for real-time control and rapid response. The company needed a modern solution offering instant access to storage data and seamless integration into operational workflows.
Implemented Solution
DHL Logistics adopted the POD line of Temperature and Relative Humidity Data Loggers featuring Bluetooth technology for monitoring in their warehouses and internal refrigeration units. These devices, equipped with wireless communication and compatible with Android and iOS applications, enabled real-time data collection without requiring physical access to the loggers.
With long-range Bluetooth connectivity, POD Data Loggers allowed rapid data transmission to operators via mobile devices, even at distances of 20 meters or more. The data could be viewed in real-time and exported into detailed reports, ensuring precise analysis and facilitating the identification of any temperature or humidity deviations.
